6/11: With the debut of the new map, expeditions to explore new areas will be limited. To encourage group exploration, only one proposal will be accepted every two weeks. ICly, exploration of new areas is too dangerous for the Council to allow multiple forays simultaneously. Additionally, you may not lead more than one expedition if you've already done one.

Players may request information for their own plots here. Players are highly encouraged to plan their plots using the Plotting comm first. Groups seeking events should elect a single player to act as the primary plot contact. We also strongly recommend keeping the number of involved players smaller or breaking larger plots into multiple logs to aid in log completion.

The following information is for player plots with multiple people:

The moderators will respond to the post after reviewing the request. If approved, the mod team will respond to the request with an approval, and send a private message to the journal used to request the event with a basic outline of what will happen, what will be encountered, and what rewards will become available to the characters upon completion of the plot. The requesting player will have the power to move the plot along in the actual log, and run any NPCs that may be necessary. This responsibility can be shared among the other players at their discretion, the moderators will not typically run any of these plots. However, we do reserve the right to take over a plot if characters are getting close to a major plot point we wanted to unveil, and we also reserve the right to ask questions and request clarification of plots, as well as deny them if we don't feel they're appropriate or properly presented. We will, however, do our best to work with everyone so they can move their plots to a satisfying conclusion.

When the plot log has been completed, reply to the plot approval with a link to the finished log. The moderators will then respond with the full rewards (which can include extra levels, resources, special items, and the ability to bond with Pokémon, among other things). Rewards will not be granted until the log is finished.

If you would like to have a solo player plot concerning something relating to personal character growth, we will speak personally with you to talk about how things should go. At the moment, the mods will help run these.

Open Sidequests:

The following are open sidequests that can be embarked upon by all players. Players are responsible for setting them up and completing them as any normal player plots, but these will potentially help advance the plot and open up new areas and Pokemon. Sidequest objectives may also tie into proposed player plots, depending on the circumstances.

As it's been one month, I'd like to progress to the next leg of the plot if possible.

The next major leg of this plot will be initial construction of the Union-side port, please reply here with your plan and how you intend to carry it out.

The site was clear-cut during the harvest of wood and all primary materials were transported to the site over the past month. Banzu will still need to make some trips between Union and the port site for more specific things like bathroom fixtures and glass for windows (neither of which will be fun to transport), but nothing that would hold up primary construction. Banzu has arranged for tents at the site for people to sleep in until a roof exists.

The characters who have previously expressed an interest in helping are: Sync, Kanji, Ezreal, Renko, Dylas, Jason, and Morgiana. As Banzu will be putting up an IC post to announce this stage, the level of interest may change. In addition to the other characters who will be helping him, he will also have the assistance of his Pokémon, most importantly a Golett (for heavy lifting), a Bidoof (for some of the wood-cutting), a Bunnelby (for digging), and a Smeargle (for miscellaneous errands).

Phase 1: The construction of the palisade, the digging of foundations, the digging and lining of the drydock cradle, and the installation of the drydock gate. All happening roughly simultaneously, and all fairly straightforward grunt work. In case of complications, the general priority list will go: palisade, drydock gate, drydock cradle, digging of foundations.

Phase 2: Installing utilities and pouring the foundations. As there's nothing for the utilities to connect to yet this is solely the installation of the equipment and some temporary measures; a water tank will now be available, but hot water is not yet a possibility. Once the foundations for the building are poured there will be something of a breather while they set.

Phase 3: Construction of the building, the pier, and the ship, and digging and reinforcing the entrance to the drydock. The more complicated work begins. In the interest of completing the ship as soon as possible, Banzu will lay the keel and start working right away with the more technical-minded characters while the less technically-inclined construct the structure over the drydock and progress from there to the workshop and the living quarters. At the same time others will be digging a trench to connect the drydock to the ocean and shoring up the sides, then building the pier. Aside from the ship, the general priority list will go: drydock enclosure, drydock trench, workshop, pier, living quarters. The goal is to have everything finished at roughly the same time, but there are enough things happening at once here that it's entirely possible for one section of the project to delay or inconvenience another. As previously mentioned, Banzu will not be finishing out the interiors of the building at this point beyond closing up the walls and installing fixtures; he'll do that stuff on his own time later.

This leg has been approved! You will have a PM for prompts for potential logs on these plots. You will not be required to log if you don't want to, but this leg of the plot will be completed in one month or when the logs are completed, whichever comes first.

Now that the Caldera situation seems to have settled down, Banzu wants to finally launch his ship and build the pier on the tropical island. He intends to load up the ship with the stone required and take it and anyone who wants to help over to the island. The island-side pier will be smaller than the mainland one and will be fairly simple to construct, amounting to a glorified dropping of stone blocks into the water It will be constructed as far to the end of the beach closest to Union as possible, so as not to interfere with the use of the beach too much.

This leg has been approved! Since there's already a beachhead established, this one should be fairly straightforward so all logging can be focused on recruiting and construction. This will be completed either once the logs finish or in one month, whatever happens first.

As it's been a month, I'd like to finally declare this plot complete. Banzu will be making an announcement once it is.
