Here's a pretty big one. I'm going to assume a no but it's worth asking about because of character shenanigans.

Can someone with "Master of Evolution" accidentally evolve a friend's pokemon without trading it? Specifically, Character A spends a lot of time with Character B, and consequently; their pokemon. Said pokemon takes a big liking to Character A and several of it's evolutions are based on affection plus an item.

Can the pokemon evolve into something Character A might like, but Character B might have not necessarily wanted?
