This leads me to my next question; I dunno how familiar with Sonic you are, but in the games, Eggman uses small animals as power sources for his badniks. I had an idea for how to adapt that by way of him using unevolved Pokemon from the common list combined with Pokeball technology.
Naturally, I can imagine that could be seen as having a lot of openings for concern, so I thought I'd describe my vision for it and see if it flew. Like with actual badniks, destroying them (and they'd be easily destroyed)) would release the prisoners inside, and I'd imagine they'd have no loyalty to Eggman once release, so he wouldn't really be capturing or bonding to them.
If this way of doing things isn't cool, I understand. I just wanted to throw it out there and see what you thought of it. If that doesn't work, would just having them be normal robots running on generic power sources be preferable?
