1. Citadel economy is primarily barter but they do have a money system, coins composed of precious metals of varying sizes depending on value. Nothing much in the way of banking but the coins (which can be as large around as a human head) are useful for particularly large transactions between two clans.
2. Typically there are a few figures that appear within Citadel lore but they worship the tree that they live within above all else, the tree having been said to have appeared in their time of need and offered them safety from the fury of the gods. Most legends of the gods are vague at best and the religion itself is typically more naturist than anything else, the priest class resides within the Citadel and they're the keepers of a lot of records and history, as well as invoke blessings for rituals and festivals but the day-to-day it really doesn't factor in.
3. Rules vary per tribe, but theft, murder, damage of property, and violation of the code of combat between tribes (typically punishing more "underhanded" actions) can be punished with varying degrees of severity. As with Union exile can be used in extreme cases, but the Valkyries have no qualms with the death penalty if they think it justified. Most of the Valkyries are pretty loose with the rules, do what you want but don't screw with someone bigger than you tends to be the order of the day.
4. The Valkyries are even less invested in education than the Calderans, they only have formalized schooling within the priesthood and everything else is taught through more hands-on apprenticeship roles. Valkyrie script is actually a form of pictograph, and Valykries generally just pick it up as they go. The clergy usually knows how to read and write and use script similar to Caldera or Union, that is to say a more standard lettering system.
5. Men can and do fight and hold office if they can prove themselves worthy, but since traditional training for men doesn't include any of the traits that would make them good at either it's pretty rare, especially with the cultural norms that just don't tend to take the men very seriously or see them as good at those kinds of things. That said, all Valkyries are typically pretty strong, it's a pretty tough, physical lifestyle.
