Oh, I didn't need anything specific, more I wanted to be sure it was okay to include it as a part of building the character/mention it if it ever came up in threads. There even is a holiday it can mirror -- Passover celebrates the memory of the entire Exodus story, so perhaps a holiday based around giving thanks for their continued existence/remembering their history (more than they already do), with a particular focus on remembering the bad things mankind used to do so as not to repeat them? I was also thinking a mirror to Hanukkah might be a celebration of the wild litwik it's mentioned they've formed an almost symbiotic relationship with.
