okay, I'd like to also ask about what I have in mind for my AU. I'd like Ichigo to have lived pre-war (like, right before the rebellion and then died during it proper), would that be doable? He wouldn't remember anything really concrete, beyond his name and the feeling that he failed, and occasional fragmented flashes of memories that I'd run through you guys if they were ever used in threads (like everyday living, maybe occasionally a flash of something to do with the war, like staring down an angry, violent pokemon), and he'd have a hard time parsing most of them anyway. I'd keep his AU per-war history intentionally vague beyond "everything was fine, and then it wasn't, and then he died" since he wouldn't....have really known what was going on before he died, only that pokemon were suddenly attacking.

A second question would be that I'd want him to be 'born' in front of the lake shrine, but he would have died where the old city is - could I swing that as his soul hanging down there and then deciding to move to the lake shrine, where it sees a fallen sword, shrugs it's ghost shoulders, and possesses it?
