Coincidentally enough, I've been considering apping Kikyo here as a Zorua shifter, to mirror her disguise artistry in canon. Having given it some thought, though, I feel like having her come from Caldera would be the most fitting, as Union's traditionalist values clash somewhat with those of her canonical homeland (and there's the matter of being an assassin in a society that abhors killing). The description of Caldera says that Shifters are rare there, but they're not unheard of, right?
