Awesome! So saying Ruby is conditioning his Pokemon for Contests wouldn't be too far fetched?

Also for Ruby: none of his starting Pokemon besides his Ralts is on the starter or Map post yet. Is there a way to say that his dad gave him his Poochyena or Skitty prior to the game (like in canon)?
