Klefki fancies itself a magician of sorts, except that the only trick it knows is to make things disappear. Usually by stealing them and running off. Thankfully, it can also make itself disappear so this all works out for the best. (The same trick is applied here.) Jack may find himself the subject of numerous complaints while Klefki quietly collects more and more precious shiny things.
