Cherubi is shy and fearful of most humans because as a young hatchling, it once saw a group of humans picnicking and eating cherries. If anyone stares at it too long, it jumps to the natural conclusion that they're contemplating how delicious it tastes. Its usual defense to this is to burst into tears. Sadly, its tears are syrupy sweet and cherry flavored.
