Starly compulsively builds nests in Rei's room and all around Union out of fear of losing its home. That won't ever happen as long as it has 18 of them! Starly will house-sit a different nest each day and becomes quite concerned if any one of them is damaged, which is why it demands Rei check on the other 17.
