Deerling the cute young reindeer
Had a scar mark on its coat
And if you ever saw it
It might strike a sour note
All of the other Deerling
Used to laugh and call it names
Right up until the moment
Deerling left them slightly maimed

Now a young buck in its prime
Deerling's kind of fierce
But when treated with respect
You and it might just connect

And with its newfound trainer
Deerling's pain might fade away
As for that mark it carries
Scars are cool now, anyway.

(In other words, Deerling has a quick temper and is prone to headbutt things at the drop of a hat owing to isolation and loneliness in its youth.)
