Well, the way I was imagining it is that this is less a spell designed to foul up technology (like his Malivaso spell) or a dispel magic spell but more like a brute force attack to target a stable energy field, rather than its source. Like if you imagine the field as a window, this spell would be like throwing a brick at it. It would have a wider coverage but be kind of clumsy and inelegant about it.

But if it would work better targeting moves or spells specifically I can limit it to just that.
