Participating Players: Goggs, Nerdo, Ax, Levi (and up to two more people who respond here between now and when the log starts)
Participating Characters: Banzu, Isabela, Yuuna or Anko, Kyoko
Requested Plot: Banzu, along with his bodyguards/fellow explorers, is looking to go to the Archipelago and look around, specifically for anything that he can profit from in some way. His hope is to find one or more settlements that have something worth trading for, some resource available only in the Archipelago, or even just some ruins he can loot. OOCly I'm hoping for something that both gives him a reason to do more with the port (and in turn give more opportunities for characters to get involved with it and generate CR) and gives characters something else to poke at on their own, but surprises are always welcome. What's actually found, if anything (hey you never know, the Archipelago could turn out to be unexpectedly featureless), is of course up to the mods. Regardless, since Banzu's putting this under the banner of scientific exploration, he'll still end up with maps (details handwaved to maintain future flexibility) and various samples and observation notes, most of which will end up at the Laboratories for researchers to play with.

ETA: As for his general approach, he'll want to do a complete circle around the Archipelago for mapping purposes if possible, and ideally pass between all the islands if the water's deep enough for the ship, keeping an eye out for anything interesting as he does so. If something's especially interesting he'll stop and look right away. If nothing catches anyone's eye for a while, he'll look for whatever spot is easy to get the ship into and explore whatever random island that happens to be.
