The Dream World is open at random around twice a month. Trainers may choose to either intensively train to change one of their existing Pokémon's abilities to its Hidden Ability or choose to intensively search to attempt to bond with a rare Dream World Pokémon with its Hidden Ability and Egg Moves. Both options will prevent trainers from leveling this week.

Bonding is not a guarantee, and initial chances are quite low. Each successive attempt to bond has a greater chance of success. Choosing to train halfway through a Dream World chain will not break it. Regardless of success, you may not bond normally if you attempt a Dream World bond.
