Sophia fishes up a level 11 Magikarp! It is the biggest Magikarp in its section of the Swamp and therefore has become accustomed to getting its own way and being the strongest of its compatriots. It is so attached to this self-image that it continues to try and strongarm (fin?) its way with other Pokémon and concocts increasingly elaborate excuses for why things don't go the way it expects them to.
